Commercial Design

Your space is one of the most powerful branding tools you have. It’s the first thing a client notices and the environment your team inhabits every day. We design commercial interiors that cover both bases: making a strong, immediate impression and supporting your staff’s best work.

We’ve worked across a wide range of commercial environments, from modern offices and boutique retail settings to historic renovations and adaptive reuse projects, and we bring the same craftsmanship and attention to every one.

“She took the look and feel of my brand and completely translated it into a gorgeous, updated space. The layout was tricky and she made every inch count. Customers rave about how beautiful it is.”

Our Approach

01 • Initial Consultation

We start by getting to know your business: how your team works, how your clients experience your space, and what you want both to feel.

From there, we put together an investment guide tailored to your project’s scope. This isn’t a budget. It’s a framework that gives you a clear, honest picture of what to expect before any commitments are made.

02 • Design Phase

Once your proposal is signed and your retainer is in place, design begins. We develop an initial concept and present it to you in person, then move into a detailed phase covering renderings, final pricing, and revisions.

While they’re not required, we strongly recommend investing in renderings. Seeing the space before it’s built is a huge advantage.

From this point forward, you’ll receive weekly updates covering progress, decisions, open questions, and next steps so you’re never left wondering where things stand.

03 • Procurement

With everything approved, we begin sourcing and placing orders. All pieces are delivered to our studio or a trusted receiver, where we inspect them before they reach your business.

04 • Installation

We install everything within a focused window and are on-site constantly throughout the entire project. We coordinate trades, hold every contractor accountable, handle styling and punch list items, and photograph the finished space.

What types of commercial spaces do you design?

We design boutique commercial interiors including hospitality, retail, offices, and specialty spaces where design plays a central role in the experience. Our focus is on environments that feel considered and distinctive rather than generic.

How long do these projects typically take?

Commercial timelines vary widely with scope, but most projects run from several months to over a year from concept through completion. We provide a detailed schedule once the scope is defined and manage the project to keep it on track.

Do you provide space planning and layout design?

Yes! Space planning is central to commercial work, where flow, function, and how people move through a space directly affect its success. We design layouts that support your operations while creating an environment that reflects your brand.

Do you handle furnishings, fixtures, and equipment (FFE)?

Yes. We manage the full FFE process, specifying, sourcing, and procuring furnishings, fixtures, and equipment suited to the demands of a commercial environment, then coordinating delivery and installation.

What vendors and manufacturers do you work with?

We work with an established network of trade vendors, manufacturers, and artisans, selecting partners based on the quality and requirements of each project. This lets us source everything from custom fabrication to specialized commercial-grade furnishings.

Do you offer full project management for commercial projects?

Yes. We manage commercial projects end to end, coordinating trades, vendors, and timelines so the process runs smoothly and you can stay focused on your business.

How do you approach branding within a space?

We translate a brand into a physical environment through materials, color, layout, and detailing, so the space communicates your identity the moment someone walks in. Good commercial design reinforces the brand experience at every touchpoint.

How do you keep commercial projects on schedule and on budget?

We build a realistic schedule and budget at the outset, track both closely throughout, and manage vendors and trades proactively to prevent delays and overruns. Clear communication and disciplined coordination are what keep a project on course.
