Full-Service Interior Design

Architexture has been designing exceptional homes since 2005.

Our mastery of space planning and architecture opens doors that most firms simply can’t, creating opportunities for customization that go far beyond finishes and furniture. The result is always deeply individual: a space that could only belong to you.

“Julie always came prepared with multiple options. You could tell she cared.”

Our Approach

01 • Initial Consultation

We start in your space, walking it with you, talking through your goals, and getting a feel for how you live and what you’re after.

From there, we put together an investment guide tailored to your project’s scope: level of finishes, construction requirements, and project management needs. Think of the guide as a framework that gives you a clear picture of what to expect before we really get started.

02 • Design Phase

Once your proposal is signed and your retainer is in place, design begins. We develop an initial concept and present it to you in person, then move into a more detailed phase covering renderings, final pricing, and revisions.

Renderings are optional, but we highly recommend them. Seeing your design before it’s built is a huge advantage when it comes to making decisions.

Starting here, you’ll receive a weekly update on progress, decisions, and next steps. We believe you should never have to wonder where your project stands—communication is just part of the job.

03 • Procurement

With everything approved, we begin sourcing and placing orders. All pieces are delivered to our studio or a trusted receiver, where we carefully inspect them before they reach your home.

04 • Installation

We prefer to move quickly and deliberately, installing everything within a focused three to four-day window. We handle styling, address any punch list items, and photograph the finished space.

We’ll be on-site the whole time, making sure no detail goes unaccounted for.

Cheers to your new home!

What makes full-service design different from other options?

Full-service design means we manage every phase from concept to final styling, so you are never left coordinating pieces on your own. Rather than handing you a mood board and stepping back, we handle space planning, sourcing, custom fabrication, procurement, trade coordination, and installation as a single integrated process. The result is a cohesive interior executed to a standard that piecemeal approaches rarely achieve.

How long does a full-service project typically take?

Timelines depend on scope, but a full-service residential project generally runs six to eighteen months from initial concept through installation. Renovations and new construction sit at the longer end, since they involve architectural coordination and lead times on custom pieces. We build a realistic schedule at the outset and keep you informed at every milestone.

What is your fee structure?

We tailor our fees to the scope and complexity of each project, typically through a combination of a design fee and product procurement. After an initial consultation and a clear understanding of your goals, we provide a transparent proposal outlining exactly how our fees are structured so there are no surprises.

Do you provide space planning and architectural guidance?

Yes! Space planning is foundational to everything we do, and we work closely with architects and builders on structural considerations, flow, proportion, and how each room functions in relation to the whole. Where architectural refinement is needed, we guide those decisions to ensure the finished space feels considered down to the last detail.

What can I expect from your design process?

Our process moves through discovery, concept development, design refinement, procurement, and installation. We begin by understanding how you live and what you want the space to feel like, then translate that into a fully realized design with plans, materials, finishes, and furnishings. Each stage builds on the last, with your input shaping the direction throughout.

How often will we communicate throughout the project?

As often as the project requires and as often as you like. We establish a communication rhythm early, whether that means scheduled check-ins, milestone reviews, or ongoing updates. You will always have a clear point of contact and a clear picture of where things stand.

How do you handle custom furnishings and millwork?

Custom work is one of the hallmarks of full-service design. We design bespoke furnishings, cabinetry, and millwork to suit your space precisely, then partner with skilled artisans and fabricators to bring those pieces to life. This is where a space becomes truly one of a kind.

Can you incorporate pieces I already own into the new space?

Absolutely! Meaningful pieces often become anchors in a room. We are happy to integrate furniture, art, and heirlooms you love into the new design, weaving them into the overall scheme so they feel intentional rather than left over.

How will you be involved during construction and installation?

We stay closely involved throughout. During construction we coordinate with contractors and trades to protect the integrity of the design, and we manage the installation ourselves, overseeing delivery, placement, and final styling so the space is fully finished and ready to be enjoyed the day you walk in.
